The much loved 4A LIVE is back! 🔥🐎

Join us on Friday 20 March, 6–8pm, as 4A LIVE presents The Jade Empress and the Great Zodiac Race, a playful drag cabaret inspired by the legend of the Chinese zodiac and a lively highlight of our celebrations for the Year of the Fire Horse.

Created and hosted by the Jade Empress of Sydney (aka the Gaysian Empress), Dyan Tai, and presented by artists from Worship Queer Collective, this playful cabaret reimagines the legend of the Chinese zodiac through drag, storytelling and live performance.

“Once upon a time, the Jade Empress went on a side quest to search for the perfect animals to create the Chinese zodiac!

Only the fastest, smartest, cvntiest will win!

Doors open with DJ Maggie Tra at 6pm and the race begins at 6.30pm sharp.

This event operates on a tiered donation system rather than a fixed ticket price. Guests are invited to contribute $5, $10, $15 or $20 according to their circumstances. The ticket option can be selected on the booking page.

Free entry is available for First Nations people and people experiencing financial hardship.
