\\New directions for a new year at Gallery 4A

The Asia-Australia Arts Centre welcomes newly appointed Director Aaron Seeto. Now in its 11th year of operation, the Asia-Australia Arts Centre, also known as Gallery 4A, is internationally renowned for its innovative exhibition program reflecting Australia's cultural diversity, as well as its significant location geographically within the Asia-Pacific Region.

"Gallery 4A has a very important place within the Australian art world,' says Seeto, 'it has helped to forge an important dialogue and discussion within the Asia-Pacific region amongst artists, curators, writers and the general public. For a small non-profit organisation to achieve this is remarkable. As Gallery Director I look forward to being able to build upon the important legacy of the organisation as well as to present new discussions representative of the networks and relationships that define our place in the world."

By becoming a volunteer at Gallery 4A, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and experience the versatility of work involved in running a busy and exciting contemporary art space. We are a non-profit organisation and rely on our volunteers and the community for support. Volunteers can participate in a variety of activities including installation, research projects and assisting in administrative tasks and exhibition openings. Your contributions will be rewarded with opportunities to build contacts and experiences in the contemporary arts industry.

Gallery 4A welcomes new and existing members to participate in our activities at the Asia-Australia Arts Centre. Our membership form has had a facelift! You should receive one with an invitation to Heavenly Bodies, so please feel free to forward it to your friends and family. 4A members will be provided with information on forthcoming exhibitions and events at Gallery 4A. Furthermore, if you are a budding artist, you can exhibit your artworks at our Annual Member's Exhibition at the end of the year. We look forward to seeing you at our openings and other events.
